Privacy Policy

This policy covers insurance.aldevex.com and is intended for users in Canada and the United States. It describes what happens on the website today and separately identifies possible future functionality.

1. Who we are

Aldevex operates Aldevex Insurance, a consumer insurance information and comparison resource. Today, the site provides general information about insurance categories; it does not provide personalized quotes or live comparisons of provider offers. Aldevex is not an insurance carrier, insurance agency, insurance broker, or licensed insurance producer.

2. Information we currently collect

When you visit, the website server and hosting infrastructure may process ordinary technical information, including your IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, requested pages, and technical or security logs. This processing supports delivery and operation of the website.

There is currently no live insurance quote form, buyer integration, or database storing consumer quote information. We do not currently collect health or medical answers through this website. If you email us voluntarily, we receive your email address and the information in your message so we can respond. Please do not send medical records, government identification numbers, or other sensitive information by email.

The website includes an interactive quote-request preview. You may enter an insurance interest, location, date of birth, address, name, email, and phone number. We use ActiveProspect TrustedForm on the quote page to document lead origin, consumer interactions, and the notices and consent presented. TrustedForm may process the page URL, IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, page interactions, form entries, and consent language. This information leaves your browser and is processed by ActiveProspect for lead certification and consent documentation, including a session record.

We flag the date-of-birth fields and their review display using TrustedForm's sensitive-field controls. Other form entries may appear in the session record. Aldevex does not currently receive completed quote answers through its server, email them, or keep them in a quote database. It does not submit, sell, or distribute these requests to insurance buyers, and there is no buyer API integration. Finishing clears the visible answers but does not delete information already recorded by TrustedForm. Your own browser's autofill and device settings remain under your control.

3. Information we may collect in the future

If live quote-request functionality is introduced, we may collect a name, contact information, location, age or date of birth where relevant, insurance interests, and other information necessary to request insurance options. Live submission and provider connections are not available now. We will explain the relevant collection, use, recipients, and choices at or before collection, obtain consent where required, and update this policy when material data practices change. This policy is not consent to future collection or sharing.

4. Why we use information

We use information as reasonably needed to operate and secure the website, respond to inquiries, provide requested website functionality, troubleshoot problems, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

TrustedForm provides documentation of the quote-page session and the notices and acknowledgements presented. A certificate does not by itself establish consent to buyer contact or certify legal compliance. No partner-specific marketing or telephone-contact consent is currently requested.

Connecting consumers with insurance providers or marketing partners is a possible future purpose only. That would occur only when a consumer requests that service and receives appropriate notice and provides consent where required. We do not currently submit insurance leads.

5. When information may be disclosed

Hosting, security, and other service providers may process information necessary to operate the site or handle communications on our behalf. We may also disclose information when required by law, in response to lawful regulatory requests, or as legally permitted to protect rights and prevent abuse.

ActiveProspect receives and processes quote-page session information through TrustedForm as described above. This service-provider processing is distinct from sending a lead to an insurance buyer. See the TrustedForm Privacy Notice for its processing, retention, and privacy-request information.

We do not currently transfer insurance applications to insurance providers or marketing partners. Any future disclosures to those categories of recipients will be explained at collection and made only in connection with the requested service and applicable notice and consent requirements. No relationship with a particular insurer is represented here.

6. Sale, sharing, and advertising choices

We do not currently sell consumer personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not currently operate an insurance lead-sharing service. If future lead-generation features involve disclosures to insurance or marketing partners, we will provide appropriate notice at or before collection, update this policy, and provide opt-out or other choices where required by applicable law. The legal treatment of a disclosure can depend on the applicable jurisdiction.

7. Cookies and tracking

TrustedForm is the only external lead-certification service currently installed, and it runs only on the quote page. It records page interactions and form information for certification, not as our advertising analytics tool. ActiveProspect states that its TrustedForm script does not use cookies. Our own website code does not set cookies. Meta Pixel, Jornaya, external analytics integrations, and behavioral advertising technologies are not implemented. Before introducing other technologies, we will update this policy and provide notice, choices, and consent mechanisms where required.

8. Canadian privacy rights

Subject to applicable Canadian privacy law, you may request access to personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, and raise questions or complaints about our handling of information. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice; we will explain any resulting service limitations.

We limit collection, use, disclosure, and retention to relevant purposes and apply reasonable safeguards. Contact the Privacy Officer below to exercise a right or discuss a concern. We may need proportionate information to verify a request and may be unable to identify technical records without further context. Legal exceptions may apply; we will explain a refusal where required. You may also raise a concern with the appropriate Canadian privacy regulator.

9. U.S. privacy rights

Depending on your state of residence and whether the relevant law applies, you may have rights to know about or access personal information, request correction or deletion, receive a portable copy, and opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising. Where applicable, you may appeal a decision on a request and use an authorized agent. Applicable law may protect you against discrimination for exercising these rights.

These rights are subject to applicable exceptions and verification requirements; not every state privacy law applies to every business. This policy does not assert that Aldevex is subject to the CCPA/CPRA or every other state law. Contact us below to make a request or appeal, where applicable. We will respond as required by applicable law.

10. Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information and risks, including HTTPS for website connections. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.

11. Data retention

Information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for its relevant purpose, legal obligations, security, and dispute resolution. Retention can vary by record and service provider. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or de-identified as appropriate, subject to lawful retention requirements.

TrustedForm session documentation is retained separately by ActiveProspect under its published retention practices; clearing or closing this form does not remove that documentation. We have not added certificate claiming or long-term retention integration. Contact our Privacy Officer about applicable access or deletion requests, and consult the linked TrustedForm Privacy Notice for further details.

12. Children

The service is intended for adults aged 18 or older and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can address it appropriately.

13. Cross-border processing

Where applicable, service providers may process information in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions. Information processed outside your jurisdiction may be subject to local laws and lawful access by courts or authorities there. We use reasonable safeguards for information handled on our behalf and comply with applicable requirements for cross-border processing.

14. Changes to this policy

We will update this page and its Last Updated date when practices change. For material changes, we will provide additional notice and obtain new consent where required by applicable law before applying the changed practices.
